Initial examination in municipal daycare facilities for children
We offer a free and voluntary medical examination for children aged 3 and above. This examination takes place directly at the nursery. Invitations for the examinations are sent out by the nursery. Parents only need to give their consent.

What do we do?

During the medical examination, we check how well the child speaks, moves, sees and hears. This enables us to identify at an early stage whether the child needs special support.

Parents are informed of the results after the examination.
The examination is free of charge and voluntary.

What is the legal basis?

This examination is regulated by the Bremen Day Care and Child Care Act (§12 paragraph 3).
