We instruct people who work with food so that they can obtain a health certificate. During the instruction, you will learn how to prevent diseases. You can easily complete the instruction online from home or from your workplace. The online instruction costs 32,50 Euro.
People who work in the food industry must have a health certificate if they come into contact with unpackaged food, for example during production or sale. People who do not have direct contact with food but work in places where unpackaged food is present must also have a health certificate. For example, if you work in a kitchen. The exact regulations can be found in the Infection Protection Act (Section 42 (1) IfSG).
After completing the instruction, you will receive a certificate that is valid throughout Germany.
Register for online instruction
The online instruction is currently available on the Bremerhaven Health Authority website. The certificate is just as valid as one issued by the Bremen Health Authority. There are no disadvantages.
If you are unable to attend an online instruction session, we offer personal instruction. Personal instruction can only take place at the Bremen Health Authority on specified dates. The number of appointments is limited. Click here to register for an appointment on site.
What is the legal basis?
The instruction is required by law. This means that everyone who works with food must participate before starting work.
